Kera Software Inc. ("Kera"/"Company"/"us") is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who visit the Website ("Users") and persons who register to use the Service ("Customers"), as defined below. This Privacy Statement describes Kera’s privacy practices in relation to the use of the Website and the related applications and services offered by Kera (the "Service").

1. Application

This Privacy Statement covers the information practices of http://www.kera.io (the "Website"). The Website may contain links to other websites. The information practices or the content of such other websites is governed by the privacy statements of such other websites. The Company encourages you to review the privacy statements of other websites to understand their information practices before providing any personal information to such sites.

2. Information Collected

Kera collects personally-identifiable information ("Personal Information") from Users who register for the Service or request information about the Service such as name, address, phone number, and email address. Users may be required to provide the Company with billing information, such as billing name and address, and credit card number ("Billing Information"). Kera also collects Personal Information from e-mail accounts and social media accounts using a service provided by Intercom.io ("Social Data"). Billing Information and Social Data are referred to collectively as "Data About Kera Users".

3. Use of Information Collected

The Company uses Data About Kera Users to better serve Customers. Kera does not use Data About Kera Users for any marketing purposes and does not provide it to third parties for any use other than storage and further development of the Service or additional services. Kera uses Billing Information solely to collect payment for Service.

Due to Internet communications standards, when you visit or use Website, we automatically receive the URL of the website from which you came and the website to which you go when you leave the Website. We also receive your computer’s IP address and your Internet Service Provider (ISP). This information is used to analyze overall trends to help us improve the Service and improve marketing efforts.

Kera may collect aggregated data regarding use of the Service, including, without limitation, number of visitors to the Website, frequency and patterns of use, tag usage, feedback request trends, etc. ("Aggregated Data"). Kera uses Aggregated Data as a statistical measure and not in a manner that would identify you personally. Aggregated Data enables us to determine how often certain parts of the Website or the Service are used so that we can improve them. Kera may make use of, or make such Aggregated Data available to, third parties, in any manner in our sole discretion.

4. Public Forums

Kera may provide forums for questions, support and discussion purposes on the Website. Any Personal Information you choose to submit in such a forum may be read, collected, or used by others who visit these forums, and may be used to send you unsolicited messages. Kera is not responsible for the use or misuse of Personal Information you choose to submit in these forums.

5. Sharing of Information Collected

Service Providers
Kera may share Data About Kera Users with the Company’s contracted service providers so that these service providers can provide services on our behalf. Kera may also share Data About Kera Users with the Company’s service providers to ensure the quality of information provided. Unless described in this Privacy Statement, Kera does not share, sell, rent, or trade any information with third parties for their promotional purposes.

Billing
Kera may use a third-party service provider to manage credit card processing. This service provider is not permitted to store, retain, or use Billing Information except for the sole purpose of credit card processing on the Company’s behalf.

Compelled Disclosure
Kera reserves the right to use or disclose information provided if required by law or if the Company reasonably believes that use or disclosure is necessary to protect the Company’s rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.

We may also disclose your Personal Information in connection with a corporate re-organization, a merger or amalgamation with another entity, a sale of all or a substantial portion of our assets or stock, including any due diligence exercise carried out in relation to the same, provided that the information disclosed continues to be used for the purposes permitted by this Privacy Policy by the entity acquiring the information.

6. International Transfer of Information Collected

To facilitate Kera’s global operations, the Company may host Data About Kera Users abroad, including in United States.

For European visitors to the Website and users of the Service, please note that in order to provide the Service, your Personal Information may be transferred outside of the European Economic Area ("EEA"). By visiting the Website or using the Service, you agree to Kera transferring your Personal Information outside the EEA for hosting and storage purposes.

7. Correcting and Updating Your Information

To update Billing Information or have your registration information deleted, please email contact@kera.io. To discontinue your account, please email contact@kera.io. Requests to access, change, or delete your information will be handled within 30 days.

8. Customer Data

Customers may electronically transmit data or information to Kera during their use of the Service ("Customer Data"). Kera will not review, share, distribute, or reference any such Customer Data except as provided in the Kera Terms and Conditions, or as may be required by law.

9. Security

The security of your Personal Information is important to us. We use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure that Personal Information is stored and maintained in a secure environment. All Personal Information is encrypted during transmission across our platform. However, we are not in control of or responsible for any errors, omissions or losses in data transmitted through the Website and/or the Service.

10. Changes to this Privacy Statement

If we find it necessary or desirable to change our Privacy Policy in the future, we will post an appropriate notice on the Website. Any significant change to this Privacy Policy will become effective ten (10) days following the date the change is posted on the Website and will apply to information collected from the date of the posting of the revised privacy policy and to existing information held by the Company. The date on which the latest update was made is indicated at the bottom of this document.
